WallTrace — Terms of Service
1. Who we are and acceptance
WallTrace is published by Honour-Media LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). Contact: support@walltrace.app. By installing or using WallTrace — from the Meta Horizon Store or from walltrace.app — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use WallTrace on devices you own or control, for your own creative work, including commercial mural work you are paid for.
You agree not to redistribute or resell the app or its files as your own product, and not to reverse engineer it in order to bypass the WallTrace Pro unlock. Normal use of a web app — viewing pages, using browser developer tools, running it offline — is not a violation of these terms.
3. WallTrace Pro purchases and refunds
WallTrace is free to install. WallTrace Pro is an optional one-time unlock that adds the advanced alignment and tracing features. It is sold through the Meta Horizon Store using Horizon Billing.
- Meta handles payment. We never see or process your payment details.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by Meta's Horizon Store refund policy, and refund requests must be made through Meta using the purchase history in your Meta account or the Horizon Store. We have no ability to issue or reverse a charge ourselves.
- If you write to support@walltrace.app about a refund, we will help you understand the issue and point you to Meta's process, but the decision is Meta's.
- The unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is tied to the Meta account that bought it and can be restored on that account — the app checks your entitlement with Meta's platform API.
4. Safety notice
WallTrace is used in passthrough AR while you move around a real physical space, so please stay aware of it. You are responsible for your own surroundings and safety: keep your play area clear, watch for stairs, edges, scaffolding, traffic and other people, and do not rely on the headset view to judge distance or footing. Do not climb ladders or scaffolding, drive, or do anything else that needs your full attention while wearing a headset — take it off first. Paint, spray and solvent safety, including ventilation and protective equipment, is your responsibility, as is getting permission for the wall you are painting.
5. Your content
The images you load into WallTrace stay on your device; we do not receive, host or claim any rights to them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use what you trace — do not reproduce someone else's artwork or copyrighted material without permission. You are solely responsible for the murals and other work you create with the app.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
WallTrace is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It is a visual guide, not a measuring instrument: alignment, scale and projection accuracy depend on your headset's tracking, your room and how you use the app, and we do not guarantee that a traced result will be dimensionally accurate. Check your work before committing paint.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honour-Media LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost work, wasted materials, or damage to property, arising from your use of WallTrace. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. The current version always lives on this page with its effective date at the top; continuing to use WallTrace after an update means you accept the revised terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Wyoming, unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
